Back to school – HR Management
Three weeks ago I’ve started studying for the Diploma Human Resources Management with the Open Training Institute.
I intend to graduate at the end of this year. I’m now working on the first assessment: Human Resources Policy/Procedure Review Report.
It’s exciting to go back to school. It’s good to learn new things. It’s good to go out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself.
I’m a life coach and author in my own business Fulfil Your Life. I use The Sedona Method to help people to let go of their negative thoughts and feelings – to help them to move forward in life and career. I also use Heart Focused Breathing and guided meditation.
This helping profession is my comfort zone. Being my own boss is what I’m used to.
HR has words and terminology that I’m not yet familiar with. But it is about people. In a different way. It’s an adventure! I’m glad I embarked on it.
Why did I make this jump? Being my own boss is great but it has its downsides too. Having to spend a lot of time and money on making sure new clients find me, and working alone most of the time, is hard. I feel like doing something different. I feel like doing something I have never done before.
