I love art.
I love looking at it and I love creating it. I paint and draw. Recently having moved to Canberra, I became a member of the National Gallery of Australia, where I spend many hours.
I started a little project: A drawing a day keeps the doctor away.
The drawings in my book The Master’s Compass are made by me. They are very simple drawings in black and white, inspired by wood cut art, made on a mobile phone with a Stylus pen.
In 1992 I was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, The Netherlands. I worked as an painter, using oils, acrylics and water colours until 2007. Then I changed my career to Life Coaching with the commencement of studies at the Dutch Academy for Counselling and Coaching. I now paint and draw as a hobby. Art will always be a great love of mine.
